WESTWOOD, N.J. [March 24, 2026] – Pascack Valley Medical Center is pleased to welcome Liby Mathew, M.D., to its internal medicine team. Dr. Mathew brings years of experience in adult primary care, providing preventive services, routine health screenings, and comprehensive management of chronic medical conditions.
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Mathew focuses on helping adult patients maintain their health through preventive care while also treating complex and ongoing conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and depression. She also evaluates and treats a wide range of acute medical concerns, supporting patients through both routine and unexpected health needs.
She values building strong partnerships with her patients and enjoys helping individuals who are working to improve their health and better manage chronic conditions. She believes in offering practical, realistic guidance that empowers patients to take an active role in their care and long-term wellness.
Dr. Mathew earned her medical degree from the University of Pune in Pune, India, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She is fluent in Hindi and Malayalam, which allows her to connect with and support patients from diverse backgrounds.
She brings over a decade of experience caring for nursing home patients. Dr. Mathew is dedicated to providing compassionate, attentive care tailored to their unique needs.
