About Gabriela Wojnarska-Alvarez, M.D.

Gabriela Wojnarska-Alvarez, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Her care philosophy is centered on providing personalized comprehensive care to all patients she encounters in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

Dr. Wojnarska-Alvarez is a firm believer in the use of preventive care. She encourages all her patients to adopt healthy lifestyles and uses unique treatment plans for her patients based on their concerns and needs.

Dr. Wojnarska-Alvarez attended Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland where she obtained her medical degree. Her internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship were completed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark.

Being fluent in Polish and basic Spanish, allows Dr. Wojnarska-Alvarez to provide her patients a space to feel respected and heard. This supports her compassionate approach in providing personalized care.

Dr. Wojnarska-Alvarez’s connection to Pascack Valley Medical Center began early in her career when she volunteered at the facility in 1999. As a volunteer, she gained experience in a healthcare setting as well as a deep appreciation for community-oriented healthcare. The addition of Dr. Wojnarska-Alvarez’s to the Pascack Valley Medical Group team provides her with an opportunity to enhance the well-being of the community she’s proud to be a member of.

When she is not with her patients, Dr. Wojnarska-Alvarez enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys engaging in wellness activities that promote balance and health in her own life and her family.
