The beautifully designed maternity center at Pascack Valley Medical Center is fully equipped to offer you and your newest family member superior medical care, as well as the comfort and privacy you deserve. Our maternity team works hard to ensure that you have access to everything you need to bring your child into the world in a peaceful, supportive environment. From personalized birthing plans to state-of-the-art neonatal care, we are committed to providing a nurturing and safe space for your growing family.

Our Maternity Services

Our labor and delivery unit is designed with new families in mind. We know that you have specific needs and wants regarding the birth of your child, and you deserve to have your comfort at the forefront of your care. That’s why our maternity hospital offers a range of amenities and features, including:

  • 24/7 access to in house obstetricians
  • 12 hour room service
  • 18 private rooms with bathrooms
  • A level II NICU for babies needing further care
  • Access to our maternal fetal medicine unit
  • On-call neonatologists
  • Patient concierge

Register for Our Maternity Classes

Pregnancy can be both one of the most magical and the most overwhelming times in your life. We are pleased to be able to offer you free maternity classes to help you and your loved ones feel more prepared to welcome your new baby into the world.

Information for Visitors

Being able to visit your loved ones and the newest member of your family is extremely important. However, to ensure the continued safety and health of both those in our care, your family, and our staff, we have certain rules regarding our visiting hours.

Important rules to remember include:

  • Visiting hours are open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, by request of mothers in our care.
  • Please refrain from visiting mothers and/or newborns if you are experiencing any signs of illness.
  • Only two visitors are allowed at a time, either two adults or an adult and a child.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult other than our patients at all times.
  • Children under the age of 12 are never permitted on the labor and delivery unit.

In regard to staying overnight in our mother and baby unit, only one adult visitor or the baby’s father is permitted to stay in the mother’s room. Any children under the age of 18 are not allowed to stay in the mother and baby unit overnight.
